Friends can be categorized to two groups – online friends and offline friends. Though at times our real life friends are also our friends online, there are instances when friendships are developed online through the social networking sites. Before Facebook, I had some friends that I have known through blogging. We became friends and known each other by visiting each other’s blogs, commenting on posts, exchanging emails or chatting over yahoo messenger. Then here comes facebook and twitter. The online world convene at one place. I had more than four hundred friends, half of which are my online chums. I haven’t even met them offline! Lately, groups are created. We have different groups for different interestes. I was a member of different blogging groups. But lately, I am spending more time in a certain group – exchanging ideas and commenting in each other’s post. I am not a pure Bisaya but I like the warm camaraderie of the groups Bisdak Bloggers and Basta Bisdak Gwapa among other groups that I belong. We can talk about anything within the group. Nobody seems to assume that she is better off than others.

There are some Bisdak Bloggers members from Davao. I already met Mommy Verna last July. Yesterday, we had a meetup again. This time, with another BB from Comval Province. We had lunch at Port Café in Gaisano Mall of Davao.

Along with the great food, we had a good time, good laugh, and good chat! I guess we were the longest staying costumers in the café yesterday as we adjourned our mini-EB at past 3PM. Just imagine we were there since 12PM and only vacated our seats three hours after? We really had a great time! Ace had a great time listening to us too!LOL. Oh, he’s included in our conversations, actually. He seems to be one of us.
