Blogging hubby

Hubby has a 2 year-old blog that was neglected for a very long time. Since he wanted to venture into blogging, I got him a domain and imported his post from his old blog. But now that everything’s ready, he cannot just start composing a post. He’s telling me he cannot make it because he doesn’t know how to write. I don’t believe him. He just don’t have the confidence that he could write fairly well. Writing is not everybody’s forte anyway, and putting words together to express one’s thoughts will take a lot of effort if you are just beginning to blog. I told Ace he could just compose a post using simple sentences – as long as there’s subject-verb agreement, it’s just okay. I know hubby can write…he just needs some motivation so I am thinking of ways to motivate him write even a 100-word blog post everyday. If his blog has fairly enough content, then we could submit it in free web directory to increase his blog’s reach. Hope Ace will find time to blog and I am pretty sure he’ll enjoy it more when he sees his blog earnings.

12. How many drafts of potential blog posts do you have right now? Around 20. :-)

13. In what medium do you draft your posts? I write it down directly here. Then save it as draft. :-)

14. How often do you completely scratch or delete drafts or blog post ideas? Guess I did it twice before.

15. If you had to leave your blog in your will to another blogger, who would you choose? I’ll have to convince first hubby to go into blogging so I could leave my blogs to him.

16. Are there other blogs that you feel are similar to yours in content, style, or voice? I don’t think so. Every blogger has unique style. Except if they are copy cats.

17. Has anything surprised you since you started blogging? I didn’t know blogging is addicting!

18. What are your goals or plans for your blog going forward? I want to keep it as long as I can….and probably add more to my list of blogs!*lol*

19. Do you make any money from your blog? (optional) about how much a month? Yes, I am.

20. What blogging system do you use? I use Wordpress…and I love it!

21. How did you come up your blog name?

22. How many blogs do you have? What was your peak? I have 7 domains now and this is my 8th blog.

23. Are you having as much fun as when you started? Yes.

24. Where do you find other bloggers like you? By blog hopping. :-)

25. What’s your one wish when it comes to blogging? Hope I won’t get tired of this and more moolah to come! Yay!

The Pretentious Blogging Meme

1. How long have you been blogging? Two years. :-)

2. What made you start? Frankly, to find other means aside from my day job. But I found it more fun writing my thoughts, and our experiences.

3. Who inspired you? Hubby

4. About how many hours a week would you estimate you spend on your blog? 24 hrs

5. What kind of experience or background do you have with writing? I was a feature writer in my HS school paper

6. Talk about how you come up with blog topics. Where do you get your ideas? Topics just pop out of my mind. Ideas are just simply mine.

7. What or who inspires you and your blog? My few loyal blog pals and of course hubster.

8. Where and/or how do your brainstorming for your blog? I am not brainstorming for my blogs. Topics to write or things that I wanna share are just coming out of my mind when I sit in front of the PC and start to create a post. It’s just spontaneous at times.

9. Do you have any blogging rules or guidelines you follow? Nothing.

10. Is there anything you will not blog about? Things that are nonsense.

11. Do you have any sort of a publishing schedule in terms of day of week or topic? I don’t follow a schedule. I just post whenever I want and I can.
