Isla Reta beach getaway

Oh, it’s been more than a month since I posted here that we are going to the beach and after that post, I didn’t mention how was our beach getaway. So before I get hooked looking around for diets that work, I’ll take time to post about our getaway.

We (hubby and me with my siblings, BIL and the kids) did spent the weekend during lent at the famed Isla Reta Beach Resort in Talicud Island. It is a one hour boat ride from Sta. Ana pier.

As usual, it’s a photo-filled beach getaway but I can’t post everything here so I am just posting some of our snaps.

I wish to go back there again….for longer stay. We just stayed there for a night and rented a concrete cottage for PhP800.00. All in all, we only paid not more than PhP2,100.00 for 5 adults and 1 kid (Eman, my baby nephew was not counted) for the cottage, excess mattress, and food (lunch, dinner, breakfast and lunch). It should have been more than what we paid for but we were given discount because the resort owner is our wedding godfather.

Ready for the beach?

I am! We’re off to Isla Reta in Talicud Island tomorrow and we’ll be spending the night there. Teheee! I am not prepared for this getaway – outfit wise – because I didn’t bother to buy one. I’m supposed to but ’twas out of budget. However, I am really excited because I’ll be using my new Lacoste Beach Bag! It arrived last Wednesday, just in time for the beach getaway! Yay!

I could have bought a pair or two of custom blinds that we need for our bedroom windows instead of this but I am still in the process of rewarding myself from all the hard work for the past years. Thanks to my blogging earnings! So I am almost satisfied, next project will be kitchen stuffs.

Off to the beach

We’re off to Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort where we’ll celebrate NEW YEAR. This will be the first time that we are celebrating new year away from our relatives. However, the family is complete (except of course for Mamang who have gone before us). I really hope New Year’s eve and New Year’s day in Paradise would be a lot of fun because this is also our first time to celebrate this occasion at the beach!

Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! See ya’ all when we’re back from the resort.
