Punta del Sol in Samal Island

We’ve been to Punta del Sol (for the first time) and I was quite disappointed with the beach. I know at first the beach isn’t as nice and bummer-friendly like other resorts with fine white sand and “coral-less” shores and beach beds. The beach is infested with sea urchins and the dead corals abound the beach and shores itself. Hayts. Not really good for beach goers like me because I didn’t enjoy it that much.

Plans for new year

We’re still undecided where to spend the holidays and new year. Last year, we’ve said we will spend new year at Paradise Island Beach Park and Resort since we have experienced a great new year there. But when my sister Carol saw the photos I and Ace took during a day trip to Bluewaters Resort, she liked it and said we will celebrate new year there. I am not sure though if Bluewaters will allow overnight stay by the beach like Paradise where they just provide foam mattresses for those who stay overnight and didn’t rent a cottage. Anyway, we still have a week to decide so we can reserve our accommodation early unlike before. So it’s gonna be a fun, fun new year outside of our homes!

Missing the beach

Oh, I really miss the beach! I am truly a water person because I love going to the beach! I don’t stay that long under the sun though but as long as I feel the sea breeze, I hear the waves, I see the clear blue water, and I get to sit and walk on the white sand, I am satisfied.

Wish we could spend another day or two at the beach soon so I won’t be dreaming about it over and over again.
