Five Pastimes for Parents in Waiting
You’ve been planning to have a child for a long time, and anticipating it with excitement for an even longer time. You’ve been to doctors’ appointments, you’ve been taking fertility vitamins and you’ve been trying to get pregnant for months. The results are in and finally, yes! It’s positive! Oh the ecstasy of that moment. But what next? You have nine whole months to wait for the little stranger. Here are a number of things you might want to think about during the long wait…
I wish! I wish!
Out of the blue, hubby whispered “I wish we already have a baby” while watching my cute and smart nephew Eman do his antics. I wish we have one soon! But then we only can wish for it to happen because we it’s only HIM who could give it to us or allow us to have a baby. But for the time being that we are baby-less, we still have to enjoy Eman’s cuteness and smartness. He’s just too cute in his antics.
Thinking of having a baby thrills me so much as I am already seeing myself shopping for baby stuff. What more? I’ve seen an ad somewhere saying “design your own baby onesie”! Exciting! That alone excites me so much. How much more if the baby is already here? I might not stop designing and buying stuffs for the baby. Wishful thinking!
Excited to be an expecting mom
For years now we are hoping that someday, the RIGHT time to bear a child will be given to us. We are still working on this but at the same time I don’t want to feel pressured about not having a baby yet – it will only depress me. So while we don’t have a kiddo yet, I and hubby are enjoying our childless moments to bits because we will definitely miss this once the RIGHT time is here. At the back of my mind, I am excited to take my maternity photos, shop for the baby, and even take tons of photos of the baby. Those are the things that excites me to be pregnant. Aside from that, wouldn’t it be exciting to look into sonography schools and become a sonogram technician, so you could be a part of the joy of expecting moms every day? I wish and pray the RIGHT time will be SOON!
