1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? ∞ watch a concert
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? ∞ I don’t normally make new year’s resolution because I am not good at keeping it. For next year, I am only making feasible plans to attain.
3. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve? ∞ Initial plan is to spend it at a beach resort with the family. PILs can’t join us this time so we will be missing them for sure. I really hope our resources will allow us to spend new year at the beach. This must be our first time so it must be fun!
4. Did anyone close to you die? ∞ yes. we had three deaths in the family. My maternal grandfather last April, my Aunt’s husband on May and my favorite uncle (uncle-in-law) last July. They all died of illness. We are happy though that their sufferings has ended.
5. What countries did you visit? ∞ I have never been to other countries.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? ∞ more photo ops. Since we moved here in the apartment last January, I never had the chance to watch and shoot the sunset or catch the sunrise. I am hoping for more photo ops this year to hone my photography skills. Also, I wanted to manage my time efficiently next year and of course, to have a baby!
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? ∞ Jan. 11 – the day we moved to this apartment. It was a very short plan to move from PILs place and yet we were able to make it.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? ∞ I was able to land an online job (that I never thought to have). Then we were able to travel to the country’s capital.
9. What was your biggest failure? ∞ Not being able to get back in shape as planned
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? ∞ Just cough and colds, then fever for a couple of days
11. What was the best thing you bought? ∞ Too many! I bought 2 additional domains, my flickr pro account, mine and hubby’s first LOALDE (it is my dream brand that came to reality), hubby’s Fossil watch, and our Canon 430-EX external flash unit. No major purchase so far.
12. Where did most of your money go? ∞ BILLS (apartment, electricity, water, internet)
13. What song will always remind you of 2009? ∞ It’s Gonna Make Sense by Michael Learns to Rock
14. What do you wish you’d done more of? ∞ playing with our camera outdoors, sleeping and out of town travel
15. What do you wish you’d done less of? ∞ playing games in FB
16. What was your favourite TV program? ∞ the reality show Pinoy Big Brother, Iron Chef America, Barefoot Contessa and other cooking shows
17. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? ∞ it’s not really hate. I just don’t feel to be around with those people
18. What was the best book you read? ∞ Chicken Soup for the Soul that’s been sitting in my box for years
19. What was your greatest musical discovery? ∞ nothing.
20. What was your favorite film of this year? ∞The Proposal
21. What did you do on your birthday? ∞ lunch date with hubby, haircut, dinner out with hubby
22. What kept you sane? ∞ my faith in HIM and the family and friends’ love
23. Who did you miss? ∞ my late Mother. I miss her so much!
24. Who was the best new person you met? ∞ Mark – the one who gave me an online job. 
25. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009: ∞ Happiness is just a matter of choice. You can be happy if you choose to.
