Party! Party!

It’s Thursday! How time flies so fast! Nevertheless, I am looking forward for weekend to come because it’s our (mine and Ace’) godson’s 1st birthday party! He is celebrating his birthday today but since it’s a weekday, Alan-Jenny decided to hold the party on Saturday. So, it will be another FC 35 get-together! Something to look forward to!

The mother is a chef but they will be holding the party at a restaurant to save them from stress and hassle in preparing food for the party. Just being wise! I am quite sure they will serve great food – menu carefully chosen by chef Jenny. Since it is a party, I have another reason to pig out (as I can eat big servings). Thanks goodness that parties doesn’t happen everyday or else I would resort to fat burners in the end. On ordinary days, I don’t usually eat a lot, so I don’t feel really guilty for eating more than what my body needs.

Birthday parties

Off to GenSan tomorrow to attend a birthday party of my BFF’s daughter. We weren’t able to attend their house warming so when she invited us over for the party, I immediately said we are coming! It’s been years since I last seen my BFF and her family….3 years to be exact. Now her youngest is turning 4! So many things to catch up on. But most importantly, I am so excited to see them all (the whole family) because the husband who works abroad is in vacation now.

Then next weekend will be a friend’s son’s 1st birthday – mine and Ace’ godson. Weee! A couple of kiddie parties this month is exciting. I guess I’d better keep the birthday party invitations of these kids as a keepsake.

Now I have to finish pending work so I can pack our weekend bags and sleep early. I need all the sleep I could get because it will be a fun-filled, adventurous weekend for us!

Ashton cigars for Daddy

Father’s Day is a few days from now. While most people are rocking their brains what to give the special men in their lives – be it their husband, father, father-in-law, relative or just a close friend; I already have a few choices for my father. It’s not that hard to choose a gift for Daddy because he is not that choosy. He would welcome anything – even a hand-me-down shirt from hubby.

What would really make Daddy grin from ear-to-ear is receiving a thing that he could use in tending his farm, fishing in the river, or his fave past time – smoking and drinking coffee!haha. I know smoking is bad for his health but sometimes I spoil him. A pack of ‘Padron cigars will warm Daddy’s heart for sure. Or just a  pack or two of Ashton cigars. But then Daddy has the tendency to keep “expensive” things given to him. And I am seeing the possibility that the cigars will end up in his collection should I give him those. Then, cigar humidifier where to store the cigars will be a perfect match for those tobacco sticks. Cigars need to be stored at a constant level of humidity to maintain its best “taste” (according to smokers).
