Investing on guitars
Some guy friends are into playing guitar since we were in HS. They invest in good brands of guitar for a tens of thousand bucks – no joke! That’s how those guys are addicted with that hobby though they are not earning from playing it because they just play during their free time in their own respective homes. At times, they convene in one place and play to their heart’s content. If they have those branded guitars, of course they also invest on Gibson guitar strings for them to be able to play their own piece without any problem. Hopefully, the kids of our HS batch will also be musically inclined like their fathers.
The language of the soul
Music, they say, is the “language of the soul”. Regardless of race, color, languages and cultures, people all over the world can sing songs together. Thanks to the media, music of different genre and styles can now be enjoyed by music lovers all across the globe.
Although over the last few years, bands have been using more of electric guitars when they play the instrument, I still like acoustic guitars. I love acoustic guitar solos, in particular. The instrument has a way of touching my heart and it’s just plain romantic, too!
I don’t play guitar but hubby does. We both love the same kind of music, and singing is one of the things we enjoy doing together especially when with friends and relatives. I guess you can say it’s one of the languages we both could speak!
From hobby to earning opportunity
I and hubby are thinking of taking our hobby to something that could earn a living for we need other source of income to help us pay the house. For sure, we cannot compete with those established photographers in the city so we are taking this planned business to other area. Why not in the nearby city? I already told my sister about the idea and she said it is feasible because there are only few who offer photo services in their area. Most that she has seen are those old school photography style.
She even mentioned there is no decent gift shop in their area because most are selling low quality and cheap China products. Another good business investment is a shop for personalized trophies and awards for people who needs that in their area goes to Davao to get what they needed. I am crossing my fingers this plan will be realized soon!
