Plans for Daddy
My father will turn 60 few years from now and I am thinking how we can convince him to stay with us instead of living alone in his farm. He wanted it there and giving up his farm is not an option though developing it is almost impossible because it would need a huge amount of money. His siblings and other relatives are living in a nearby barangay but he would need to cross a river to get there and they cannot always check on him 24/7.
I hope Daddy will change his mind and priorities before he turns 60 and stay with us. I and my siblings are planning on getting him a health insurance that he can use anytime if he needs to see a doctor for a check-up if there would be any health problem*knock on wood*. Then when he turns 60, I hope we can afford to get him a life insurance for seniors. That’s the least we could do to him. But I really hope he would agree with us on leaving his farm for now and live with us or with any of my sisters so we could look after him. That way, we won’t worry too much about him.
Excited to be an expecting mom
For years now we are hoping that someday, the RIGHT time to bear a child will be given to us. We are still working on this but at the same time I don’t want to feel pressured about not having a baby yet – it will only depress me. So while we don’t have a kiddo yet, I and hubby are enjoying our childless moments to bits because we will definitely miss this once the RIGHT time is here. At the back of my mind, I am excited to take my maternity photos, shop for the baby, and even take tons of photos of the baby. Those are the things that excites me to be pregnant. Aside from that, wouldn’t it be exciting to look into sonography schools and become a sonogram technician, so you could be a part of the joy of expecting moms every day? I wish and pray the RIGHT time will be SOON!

Ashton cigars for Daddy
Father’s Day is a few days from now. While most people are rocking their brains what to give the special men in their lives – be it their husband, father, father-in-law, relative or just a close friend; I already have a few choices for my father. It’s not that hard to choose a gift for Daddy because he is not that choosy. He would welcome anything – even a hand-me-down shirt from hubby.
What would really make Daddy grin from ear-to-ear is receiving a thing that he could use in tending his farm, fishing in the river, or his fave past time – smoking and drinking coffee!haha. I know smoking is bad for his health but sometimes I spoil him. A pack of ‘Padron cigars will warm Daddy’s heart for sure. Or just a pack or two of Ashton cigars. But then Daddy has the tendency to keep “expensive” things given to him. And I am seeing the possibility that the cigars will end up in his collection should I give him those. Then, cigar humidifier where to store the cigars will be a perfect match for those tobacco sticks. Cigars need to be stored at a constant level of humidity to maintain its best “taste” (according to smokers).
