On being vain
The skin is the largest organ of our body. But sometimes, we don’t take care of it the way we should be. People who put effort in taking care of their skin and spending bucks for derma sessions and premier skin care products are labeled as vain (“banidosa” in Tagalog). As much as I want to be vain, I think I have lost the interest to maintain the regimen that I started when I was still working. Hmmm…I can’t shed a lot for skin care products so I must stick to natural products instead like fresh fruit mask and others.

Long lashes
People never fail to notice my nephew’s long eyelashes. I wonder where did he get those? Me and my sisters are not blessed with long, curly lashes. From my BIL’s side, I didn’t notice the long lashes too. But my nephew got those thick, long lashes that makes him more adorable! When I was in my teens, I was wishing to have a thick long lashes but I don’t know how to achieve it except for using mascara. I didn’t know that there are eyelash growth products people who wanted to have a thicker and longer lashes. Had I known it before, I might have tried using it. That if, I have the guts to try those products back then.LOL.
Brain food
I noticed I’ve been eating nuts more the past weeks. Every time we go to the grocery, I usually have a pack of roasted nuts. Just missed those college days when Mamang brings me home peanuts during exam week. It’s my “brain food” so Mamang would religiously buy peanuts when it’s time to burn candles. So glad I didn’t develop acne for eating lots of nuts contrary to what others believe that nuts can cause breakout. Oh well, for those who are craving for nuts but has an acne-prone skin, there are lots of acne remedies you can resort to…just don’t deprive yourself from eating your favorite. After all, nuts are healthy food.
