Ace imposed a no-softdrink diet for himself. So when I told him I am craving for my thirst quencher, he told me to buy one bottle of “sakto” Coke. Sakto coke is a little smaller than 8 oz so that won’t really satisfy me!LOL. He has high level of fatty acid in his blood so he is advised to go on a high-fiber diet. Read: high fiber diet and not a no-soda nor a low sugar or sodium diet. Fatty acid is different from sugar so I told him to just drink softdrinks if he wanted to and just skip eating fatty or fried foods. Maybe that fatty acid in his blood is genetic predisposed or a result of loving fried foods that he has been eating ever since the world began and when he is out of the house because I don’t usually cook fried dishes at home. So Ace just need a high-fiber diet according to their company nurse. He’s not required to undergo treatment for high cholesterol at this time since his concern is triglycerides (though both are related). Hence, food high in fiber is what Ace needs and he can still enjoy drinking soda.LOL. Talk about softdrink addict!
