Off to the beach
We’re off to Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort where we’ll celebrate NEW YEAR. This will be the first time that we are celebrating new year away from our relatives. However, the family is complete (except of course for Mamang who have gone before us). I really hope New Year’s eve and New Year’s day in Paradise would be a lot of fun because this is also our first time to celebrate this occasion at the beach!
Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! See ya’ all when we’re back from the resort.

The Final Week of 2009
1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before? ∞ watch a concert
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? ∞ I don’t normally make new year’s resolution because I am not good at keeping it. For next year, I am only making feasible plans to attain.
3. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve? ∞ Initial plan is to spend it at a beach resort with the family. PILs can’t join us this time so we will be missing them for sure. I really hope our resources will allow us to spend new year at the beach. This must be our first time so it must be fun!
4. Did anyone close to you die? ∞ yes. we had three deaths in the family. My maternal grandfather last April, my Aunt’s husband on May and my favorite uncle (uncle-in-law) last July. They all died of illness. We are happy though that their sufferings has ended.
5. What countries did you visit? ∞ I have never been to other countries.
Last Stand of 2009
1. What did you think of 2009?
∞ it is one of the best. We are so blessed work-wise, family-wise, relationships-wise
2. What do you think was the news story of the year?
∞ the typhoons that flooded so many towns and even provinces in the northern part of the country, and the massacre in Maguindanao
3. What happened this year that you never want to hear another word about?
∞ I don’t wanna hear about those UNHAPPY people who CLAIMS to be HAPPY (obviously, they aren’t by the kind of life that they are living and their attitude towards others)
4. What was your favorite song of 2009?
∞ ”It’s gonna make sense” by Michael Learns to Rock
5. What did you accomplish this year?
∞ got 2 additional blogs, we were able to travel to Metro Manila and enjoyed our stay there with hubby’s sister and her husband, met blogger friends in the metro, finished uploading thousands of photos to flickr©, gained new friends in the blogosphere, rekindled friendships
6. Did you learn anything new this year?
∞ I learned some recipes
7. What are you looking forward to in the new year?
∞ I am looking forward for a blessed and blissful year, to move to our own little place, more bonding time with the family (including our extended families), more travel to places we’ve never been, more photo ops, more work for me and hubby!
8. What are your plans for New Year’s Eve?
∞ We’re going to spend it at a resort in Samal Island (sadly, PILs can’t join us because they’ll be spending the New Year with their only daughter and her hubby miles from here)
9. What’s the best thing you ever did on a New Year’s Eve?
∞ welcoming the NEW YEAR with my loved ones!
